Jim McCready, from the Carleton Place Urban Forest River Corridor Advisory Committee, will be hosting a free webinar at 7:00 p.m. this Wednesday, April 30th, for anyone thinking about planting a tree on their property this spring.
Jim will go over best practices and cover the basics like how to prepare the site, plant, stake, and mulch your new tree, as well as post-care like watering, fertilizing, and pruning.
There will be a small question period at the end of the webinar.
