The Town of Carleton Place is updating our Development Fees and Charges commencing January 1st, 2027.
As part of an agreement for grant funding under the Housing Accelerator Fund, the Town undertook a comprehensive review of its development-related fees and charges (planning, engineering, and building) in order to quantify and substantiate the full cost of service delivery for each applicable fee category to ensure that fees accurately reflect the level of effort and resources required to deliver services.
