As planning for the 2026 Road Reconstruction and Overlay Project is gearing up, we wanted to acknowledge a Federal funding stream that helps significantly offset the cost of undertaking this work.
The Town received the following Federal funding under the Canada Community Building Fund (CCBF), which is a stable, predictable, and indexed source of funding which allows communities to make strategic investments in essential infrastructure, such as roads and bridges, public transit, drinking water and wastewater infrastructure, and recreational facilities:
- James Street (Townline Road E to Bell St.) – $172,779.45
- Joseph Street (Townline Road W to High St.) – $157,986.84
- Wellington (Park Ave. to Queen St.) – $79,039.71
