Planned Hydro Outage
The Town of Carleton Place would like to advise residents and businesses of a planned power outage that is scheduled for Sunday, June 8th, 2025, from 7:00 a.m. to approximately 11:00 a.m. to allow Hydro One to install new equipment. The outage will affect Industrial Avenue and Smythe Road. Properties owners can contact Hydro One for more information.
For everyone’s safety, the Town of Carleton Place would like to request that residents find alternative routes to avoid these active constructions zones. If you cannot avoid these areas, please reduce your speed and follow the directions provided by flag crews and/or any posted signage. Our goal is to ensure everyone is able to go home safely at the end of each day. Should you have any questions about any of our projects, please reach out to the Public Works office at (613) 257-2253.
