Transit Feasibility Study – Public Input

The Town of Carleton Place has initiated a Transit Feasibility Study (TFS) to explore potential transit solutions to support local residents, businesses and regional visitors. The TFS will identify a preferred solution that fits the context of a small urban municipality and develop an implementation plan including startup capital and operating cost estimates.

The project team has presented initial findings and are seeking input on the preferred transit options from Carleton Place residents. Members of the public are encouraged to submit comments to Guy Bourgon, Director of Public Works, at gbourgon@carletonplace.ca by Tuesday,June 25th, 2025. Any comments received will become part of the public record and be used to help inform the study, with the exception of personal information.
